Customizable character remapping tables can convert incoming or outgoing characters to other characters to facilitate file transfer to/from “foreign” systems that use different character mapping. Remapping sets are added alphabetically by name to the bottom of the Mapping menu.
Sets that remap characters immediately after a line is read from disk are italicized. If the “Mac Character Set” menu item is chosen, no remapping is done.
Remapping sets may be added, deleted, or edited using the Edit A/S application.
